Right this like nearly every other plugin I have used is just so complex, no clear instructions on how it works.
I know its all done for free, and of course it’s appreciated. But if someone gave you a rubbish sandwich for free, would you eat it?
All I can tell you is that this plugin does the same thing as WP Multi Network. I’ve used both.
What you’ve described sounds like 3 nested levels of sites, and I don’t think either plugin can do that. Multi network allows you to have multiple top level sites, and subsites within each one. Not one top level site, with subsites that have subsites.
WP Multi Network allows you to have networks within networks within networks. It is like the inception of multisite plugins 😉
But doesn’t seem to work, or the instruction are not clear enough on how it works.
You have to enable the plugin in your new network just like you did in the preceding network… they are logically separated after all 😉
This needs to be installed in your Wp_config
/* Multisite */
define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true);
@jazbek Which plugin do you think functions best?
WP Multi Network 1.3.1 seems borked on 3.5, I believe Ben has previously suggested trying the verion in Trunk (but not on production).
How is Networks For WordPress UI in comparison? Is it stable? Can I switch from WPMN to N4W? (I forgot what plugin it was but I jumped from and old plugin to jjj’s.
I would like to contribute to one of these plugins soon, just not experienced with SVN. :/
@chaos1 I am currently using Networks For WordPress. The UI is great. I used to use wp-multi-network, but switched to Networks and have had no trouble.
