I’ve tried everything with this plugin.. I’m really starting to hate it now..
every possible tweak, I followed their tutorial step by step, and yet I still cannot see the thumbnail in my post. just a normal link, once clicked it opens a new window to my picasaweb.

So far the plugin has failed miserably.. Sorry folks. might be a compatibility issue with WP 3.1.3
was working fine with my previous 2.8
such a shame to let it go.. but it’s just not working

You need to remove the “s” in “https://”
for instance, if you had: https://picasaweb.google.com/username/albumname
    Change it to: http://picasaweb.google.com/username/albumname

I found it by chance. looks like Picasaweb has upgraded their online albums to a Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (https) and the plugin’s developer did not upgrade.

    Regards,

Can’t say it helped here :/

Actually, that did the trick for me. I removed the “s” in the “https://” and the Picasa link started working with this plugin. I now see the album cover and clicking on it brings up the gallery that the plugin creates and not the gallery at Picasa.

I’m using the latest WordPress — version 3.2.1

    and Picasna plugin version 1.5.2

so it works, just wondering if version 1.6 will ever appear.
