Please try to enable “Spam test for registration during checkout” option (WP Admin -> Settings -> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk -> Advanced settings)

    Did it help?

I have the “WooCommerce checkout form” setting enabled which disables the “Spam test for registration during checkout” setting. How can we have both?

    Hello, @danielbair

Does the protection work with “WooCommerce checkout form” enabled?

Did you do tests not being logged as an administrator?

No, it does not catch spam registrations with that setting enabled.

I have disabled registration on the wp settings page, but enabled it on the wc settings page.

I have registration also working on the cart and checkout pages via the plugin mentioned above.

    Hello, @danielbair

I’ve just tested registration form at checkout page and got blocked.

Please, make note, that you are doing tests not being logged as administrator.

Also, update the plugin to the latest version.

    The guide is here:

    Thank you.

Ok, it does catch registrations on the checkout page, but not on the cart page with the “WooCommerce Login Popup and Shortcodes” plugin.

I am testing in a separate private browser window which does not have an administrator logged in.

I see only 2 options on

    – Proceed to checkout

    – Proceed with PayPal Express Checkout

    The checkout page is protected.

PayPal Express Checkout leads to PayPal page, the plugin can’t protect the outer page.

Could you tell us what should be protected?

On both the Cart page and Checkout page we have the plugin “WooCommerce Login Popup and Shortcodes” running on link “Click here to login (not required)”

When you click “Click here to login (not required)” the popup login modal pops up.

And when you click the register link in that modal, and enter a spam email address in the registration form and click register, clean talk spam filter doesn’t catch it.

But if I inspect that form in my browser, clean talk javascript event is attached to the plugin’s register form, and no-other javascript event is attached to that form.

I found it. Yes, it seems that integration may be required. But if you mean this plugin:

then I’m afraid we can’t help, as the plugin was last updated too long ago and has not many installations.

Would you kindly tell me what integration is required. I can edit the plugin code and maintain the plugin myself.

We’ve made some changes for WooCommerce. It should help. Could you try the dev version?

    Did it help?

    It works now!
