Not working with elementor

    I want to import the content from one page into another page using Custom Content Shortcode. The page builder I am using is Elementor.

    For some reason its only importing the text and ignoring the background colour and sections.

    Anyone else have the same problem?

    Depending on how you build the page the formating is from Elementor – not CCS.

    If this is the case, importing only the CCS code will not help.

    The HTML IDs and classes may be imported, but the CSS selectors may not work, depending on the parent selectors.

    Use your Browser’s Inspector tool to check whether the IDs and classes are imported (or look at the page source code). If they are present, you may need to duplicate and add new selectors and CSS in WordPress > Dashboard > Appearance > Customise > Additional CSS.

    Thanks for your replies.

    I checked the source code and it looks like CCS is only importing the page text and ignoring the surrounding grid tags.

    So its not just a simple case of replacing CSS.

    Hi everyone

    So i tried everything to get CCS working with elementor but with no luck so was forced to look for another solution.

    The AnyWhere Elementor plugin did the trick.
    I hope CCS looks into this because I’ve been using it for years and would like to stick with it if possible
