When using the Elavon Converge gateway it is giving an error at checkout and not completing successfully, but still taking the user’s payment via Elavon Converge, without any notice this is happening from the WooCommerce order.

    Frontend error:

An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment.

    Backend error:

Elavon Converge Credit Card Payment Failed (The order ID from the queried transaction does not match the expected order ID.) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

Please let me know if you require any more information to debug this, as we urgently need to find a solution as soon a possible, as we can’t disable reCAPTCHA due to ongoing carding attacks.

    Hi,

Unfortunately we can’t offer support for compatibility issues with other premium plugins like Elavon Converge 🙁

It seems the checkout form, with the customer address, is being submitted but Elavon Converge adds a 2nd step/page for the payment which is not the normal WooCommerce checkout flow. So they might not be passing along the reCAPTCHA token to the final checkout step.

You will need to reach out to their support for this issue. Maybe they can add their own reCAPTCHA option or modify it to pass the reCAPTCHA token added by Advanced Google reCAPTCHA if it’s present on the form.

I tried contacting them, but the response I got was:

“We are not able to assist in matters related to website security settings”

Basically telling me we need to secure the site from carding attacks or they will suspend our account, but won’t assist in making any security method work with them.

I’ve already tried many methods of integrating both reCAPTCHA and Turnstile, but none worked.

@jasonabmw Any resolution? For weeks we have had issues with failed orders w/ a variety of errors.

I’ve got basic reCAPTCHA v3 working, though the security added hasn’t been verified yet.

The main thing is to go to Elavon Converge, and disable the checkbox:

Enable IP Address Settings for XML API

And ensure your server IP address is listed in the whitelist for Checkout.js.
