    Very Great plugin. Logically structured.
I’ve been looking for that for a long time!

The only drawback is that it does not send mails 😉
Notifications for new comments are only sent after removing the checkmark for “Enable Notification logging” under Settings > Debugging. (!!!!)

Notifications for new posts are only sent after the “Disable Gutenberg” v2.0 plugin has been deactivated. Am I the only one who has the intolerance problem with Gutenberg?
    thanks.

    Hi @fury78,

actually, the Enable Notification logging feature is intended to suppress any notification. It’s just caught in the log for the reference.

Now, what’s the case exactly with Gutenberg? Which Trigger are you using and what’s the expected result? How do you test?

    It’s a bit confusing. I install a plugin, test and nothing happens… ?!

The problem can be reconstructed. I just tested the plugin again on another website. Here the same. If “Disable Gutenberg” is active, no mail notification for post changes (post published / addet / updatet) will be sent. When “Disable Gutenberg” is inactive, your Plugin works.

I tend to disagree, because the setting description:

While log is active, no notifications are sent

Also, a notice is presented on each of Notification plugin pages to warn that submission is disabled 🙂

I know what’s going on with this Disable Gutenberg plugin, we are not compatible with it and Notification thinks the Gutenberg is still active! I’d suggest using the Classic Editor plugin, maintained by WordPress.org.
