Yes it doesn’t work for me either. I looked for this plugin because for some reason I never receive the WordPress admin email confirmation. I’m trying to change it from the previous web developer.
This plugin keeps showing the old email address. Did you find a solution?

Thanks for reporting this issue. As of today, if you cancel the “pending email” first, you should be able to change the site admin email permanently. The pending email is blocking the change. As a matter of fact, enough people have reported this issue: I’ll update the plugin with a new feature to cancel the pending emails automatically. I’ll get on it right away!
Thanks for updating @johndeebdd! @chrisdadd I accidentally discovered that canceling the pending email solved the problem. Note that this is required if changing via phpMyAdmin or the options page as well.
