It’s ok for me only with Google Chrome, not with Firefox.

in IE8 and WP3.9 not woork too.. And in Google Chrome blank square icon in toolbar.
when this plugin will be updated..just asking mates..
yes, it doesn’t work in wordpress 3.9 & Firefox!
i also check that when you activate this plugin, when you attached images and using image editor in 3.8.1 doesnt load the content..i dont know if you encounter this mates.

Crayon Syntax Highlighter breaks my WordPress posting, but only on the backend. if i’m set up to use the visual editor, it’s broken. but … if i’m set up to use the text editor all is well and i can post from the back end without issues. if i click the tab for the visual editor, everything breaks.
however, i can still use the front end posting features of my theme.
i have tested this on the following:
Windows 7 and Chrome = broken as described above
Windows XP and IE 8 = broken as described above
OS X 10.9 and Chrome = broken as described above
OS X 10.9 and Safari = broken as described above
Ubuntu 14 LTS and Chrome = broken as described above
using WordPress 3.8.1
thanks for the response mate…is there a posibility that this plugin be fixed for wordpress 3.8.1…for now…i did not yet upgrade to the latest wordpress version because of my theme i need to update my theme before upgrading to the latest one.
I have the same problem and input with text editor the code in frontend is blue and black.

same problem with Anisi.Maybe it’s also similar with ivan.zderadicka.
I use Firefox 28.0 first and I can’t open Syntax highlighter editor in visual mode , but I can click the labe caryon to use the editor in text mode.
By the way , it’s normal in latest Chrome.
I was also experiencing the visual editor breaking when this plugin was active. The developer has released a beta version on the github site https://github.com/aramk/crayon-syntax-highlighter which seems to be working well. I’m currently running v3.8.2 of WP.

My WordPress version is 3.9, Crayon version is 2.6.0
Crayon popup open only in textual mode with Firefox 28.0, IE 11, Opera 12.16. IN Opera even the popup buttons “Add” and “Cancel” do not works.
No problem with with Iron 32.0.1750.1 and Safari 5.1.7.
