Had to enable dev mode on Cloudflare to delete this plugin…

But the issues persist even after it…

I believe there are CF-server issues that are not related to this plugin. The WP CF plugin has also issues:

    Might be related to fastCGI.

I moved a few sites away from Cloudflare to Bunny and no issues there at all so far.

Thank you!! I the mean time I contacted the hosting provider in order to whitelist Cloudflare IPs.. I will report back whether that solves the issue or not

    Might be related to fastCGI.

What is “fastCGI” first time I hear it

    Kind regards

fastCGI is a nginx server cache method and can speed up WP quite a bit. Are you on a nginx VPS?

I have a few WP sites on different servers, and some on a shared litespeed host. All are good, but strangely the fastest server makes the most problems.

Here is a fun thing you can try: use a VPN near your server (with the Chrome Windscribe plugin you can chose from a lot of IP locations, most are free) – so get a VPN near your server and check if you still get errors. For me, not, strangely.

Bunny gives you 14 days free usage and after that for my low volume WP sites it’s like $1/Month for all sites combined.

Thank you for explaining good to know. I have a WordPress installation without Cloudflare but from the same hosting provider, which in the http headers says apache as far as I can tell. Here it is tomastestart.cl

    Hi @snippet24,
unfortunately, this is not this plugin issue. Error 522 means Cloudflare can’t connect to your origin server. I would highly suggest contacting your hosting provider about it.

    Hi Saumya,
Well I contacted them and they are not willing to add Clouflares IPs to a white list (shared hosting), so I will have to move on to another hosting provider, but yeah that should be it.

Indeed that was it, moved the test hosting provider to another one and the issues are gone.

    Super happy to hear that
