Not working …only in backend
-
Hi @phillcoxon
Please have a look latest update of foo gallery activated. I’m now with the 1.4.4
I’ll keep it like that until tomorrow morning, as for now I have less trafic. Please let me know when you find your way in it.
Best,
ArthurOh, This is very strange, your update partially solved the problem, have a look : on this page
I’m sure it was not working yesterday with older version. But I don’t know why it is still a mess on my events.
I’ve got Events Manager Plugin, could this be the reason why it don’t work on my events, but it do work on my pages?
Do you have a solution for events?EDIT: I’ve activated my NextGen plugin again, and the galleries are still working on pages.
So I don’t think this is a problem with that plugin.-

Hello @phillcoxon,
I’ve got also a problem with al my FooGallery Albums.
See: https://www.zorgenwelzijnbouw.com/mantelzorgwoningen/ (at the end of the page)
How can I downgrade to an older version? Or what did I do wrong when updating to version 1.4.4?
Please help me ASAP ;-).
Greetings,
Marcel Herber*** I’ve downgraded Foogallery because of the problem. Please fix it.
For your information: url: http://www.craneointernational.eu/fotos/ is NOT downgraded or fixed. The problem is visible.-

@vale2302, thanks for posting the console error, but is there a way I can access your site and debug directly? I cannot access your URL : http://arconeslasevillana.com.mx – when I do I see the following message “Forbidden – not permitted to browse this site, You are now being detected! Stop or else we will proceed with legal Actions!”
@herberdesign, please can you purge your cache plugins that you are running – your site is still trying to load old css files from the previous version.
@davon69, glad your issue us resolved!
@herberdesign, does 1.4.5 solve your problem? If not, please start a new thread and do not reply to this thread. thanks
@bradvin
go ahead an check my site http://arconeslasevillana.com.mx
it was blocked due to security reasons but now you can view it@bradvin
Hello
Have you already checked the Java error?
haven´t heard from you on this issue yet?@vale2302, it looks like you are using Autoptimize plugin. Can you delete the autoptimize cache and reload the page.
The FooGallery assets are not being loaded into the page for some reason
@vale2302, there are still issues on your page. There are JS scripts being embedded in the page causing JS errors, and the FooGallery scripts and CSS are not being included on your page for some reason. This tells me that there is a caching plugin or caching at your hosting level which is causing this.
I am not sure why it doesn´t do this kind of behavioir with 1.3.8 Version
It only does it on versions after 1.3.8
Like I said I deactivated all plugins and cdn as well
very strange
I am going to roll back to 1.3.8 because the site is Live until a further version or a solution.-

Hello @phillcoxon @bradvin
I´ve found that @susantrevellick had reported also the same issue under this thread:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/my-1-4-5-galleries-have-disappeared-too/By looking into the console of her test-site it has exactly the same Java Script error
The issue might no be releated to cache.
Plase look a little deeper into this issueI had the same issue also. Mine was caused by the Autoptimize plugin. It appears that the latest version of FooGallery (1.4.5) is not compatible with the JavaScript optimization. If you turn it off, the galleries start working again. It is not just a caching issue. If you reapply the JavaScript optimization they again stop working. Hope that helps some of you.

You can probably also fix by excluding FooGallery’s JS from optimization, have a look at Autoptimize’s FAQ for further info on troubleshooting and how to exclude.
hope this helps,
