    Hello Guys,

    First i would like to say thanks for this plugin. Basic and simple to use. Just perfect.

    I installed the plugin and set up everything in a matter of seconds.

    However, it doesn’t seem to work on my website.

    A User can login just as they normally would.

    I’ve checked the on and off button, and it is ON.

    Emailing runs through WP Mail SMTP and the email test works fine as always.

    Would anyone be able to give me any advice?

    Morning Tony (@bones196),

    This only happens when you’re using a theme/plugin that uses custom login forms and/or action/hooks and bypasses the default WordPress login.

    If you attempt to login at yourdomain.com/wp-login.php then our plugin will work as expected.

    Could you let me know the theme and/or plugin you are using (plugins are usually membership plugins) and I’ll take a look at their code to see if we can hook into it to make it work as expected.

    Hello Sully,

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I’m using a wp-script Retrotube (https://www.wp-scritpt.com) the registration and login form is already integrated into the website.

    I haven’t tried to login via the admin with Two Factor (2FA) Authentication via Email activated,i’ll give it a try shortly.

    Hello Sully,

    Just a quick update. I activated the plugin and went to login to the admin of the website. All worked fine until I was locked out. I got an error message stating “The tokens do not match”. I refeshed the page, cleared the cache and tried again. I got the same error message. “The tokens do no match”. I was obligated to go via my hosting account to access the admin and disactivate the plugin.

    Morning Tony,

    If you’d like to, you can submit a ticket here. This will help us get the sensitive information so we can proceed to investigate.

    What we’ll need is:

    • The token URL that was sent you to via email (to confirm it’s looking correct)
    • An account on the website so we can test (you may set the account’s email as plugins@ss88.us)

    When you receive this error “The token you are using does not match or has already been used.” it means that the token in the URL string is wrong or that the token attached to your user account is wrong. Usually this error pops-up because the login was submitted multiple times. Each time you submit a login, a new token and email is generated resulting in the prior token(s) being invalid.

    Thanks Sully for your reply,

    I tried to open a support ticket as you so kindly sujested, but apparently the cloudflare turnstyle hates me and will not let me send the message. It seems to happen alot with Cloudflare turnstyle where i’m concerned.

    I guess i’ll have to try and see if I can sort it myself.
