    Hi,

We are aware of the situation. Currently there is a temporary issue on Google’s end related to old IE and old EDGE versions. Hopefully it will be solved soon.

You may update your EDGE to the latest version, which will fix the issue.

Alternatively you can use our paid version, which does not have such issues: https://gtranslate.io/#pricing

    Thanks! 🙂

We are a week later and still no fix… Can’t you provide us with a fix for the free version?

    Hi,

As I have mentioned earlier the issue is on Google’s end and will be solved by Google. We cannot do anything about it, since we depend on their library.

The only solution currently is to use the latest version of EDGE browser or upgrade to paid version of the plugin.

    Thanks! 🙂

And why does the paid version work and the free version not?
Why don’t you do the same thing with the free version so it will work.

    Hi,

Because the technology used by the paid version does not depend on JavaScript at all.

In free version the engine which finds the texts and replaces them by the translated ones on a page is written in JavaScript language and it runs inside the client browser, so it depends on the client environment.

With the paid version the page HTML is already translated when loaded and it comes directly from our server, so you can use it even if your environment does not have JavaScript support.

You can find more information about our Translation Delivery Network aka Translation Proxy technology on https://gtranslate.io/#faq

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks! 🙂
