not working in IE8

    The lightbox works great in all browsers except IE8 for me. When I click on a link to launch the lightbox in IE8, my browser then leaves the current page and opens the external page (I am trying to load the external page in the lightbox). Again, it works correctly in all other browsers. Any idea what is going on here or how to fix it?
