Hi,
please make sure you added your channel username in the plugin options with the form @botname.
Also, the bot must be administrator of your channel. You should be able to do this with your phone app (doesn’t work with web app).

sorry i meaned administrator (not moderator), i did that and the name in the settings of the plugin is correct (tryed whit 2 new created bot), i’m using the WPtele.ga option.
the only thing i can think is some limitation on the bot name(?) the first one was Scbot1 @SCit_bot (maybe the big letter are a problem?) the second one and the one actually used is starcitizenitbot @starcitizenitbot (maybe same name is not right?)
btw i’m from italy so if you need more specific information in italian just tell 🙂

other info: i can send text message in groups whit the plugin menu BUT it will not send anything (only in groups, direct chat work) with zapier (probably cause of the beta, just wanted to give a feedback).
Il problema avviene anche mandando testo semplice? Hai provato a cambiare la versione PHP su 5.4 o superiore?

dunque: nei canali non manda nemmeno testo liscio, niente. nei gruppi manda testo liscio ma non zapier, nella chat privata del bot arriva sia zapier che testo liscio. Mi hanno riferito che va bene anche cosi perche quelli che usano il bot fanno copia e incolla del link dalla chat e la mettono nel canale a mano. pero se vuoi vedere di risolvere questa cosa ti aiuto facendo le prove 🙂
versione attuale di PHP: 5.4.45
(testo liscio provato con la funzione invia messaggio del plugin)

update: stamattina ho aggiornato il bot all’ultima versione, ora funzionano anche i gruppi (ricevono anche i link tramite zapier), invariata la situazione del canale che non riceve nulla, l’errore che ti dicevo si e’ spostato da linea 206 a linea 207 del file telegram-bot.php
Dunque… Nell’aggiornamento di stamattina mi sono documentato sugli errori che possono comparire.
Prendi il messaggio di errore e isola il link in esso contenuto:
https://api.telegram.org/bot … &reply_markup=null
Poi prova ad aprirlo dal tuo browser. Dovrebbe comparirti il motivo dell’errore. In particolare, 400 Bad Request dovrebbe riferirsi a qualche parametro o configurazione errata.
