Unfortunately, I am unable to replicate your issue. What other plugins are you running? Could you provide more details on your hosting environment as well as any details on your WordPress environment? Potentially, another plugin could be overriding Heartbeat Control.

The plugin worked for me previously, but after i de-activated and re-activated the plugin it no longer shows up in the Tools menu. I tried deleting and then re-installing it, but there is no change. I just read an article by Jeff Chandler http://wptavern.com/how-to-take-control-of-the-wordpress-heartbeat-api and I am concerned because I am using HostGator. How do I get access to the menu?

Otherwise, please explain where I can manually edit the php file and set it to the maximum 60 seconds.

As of the lastes update pushed yesterday, it is now under Settings.

Thanks for the support, i managed to fix that by removing 2 plugings.

Widget tab and wp review. Now i don’t have any admin ajax to slow down my site even if i don’t use this plugin (heartbeat control)

    This is my website: https://techvalue.gr

I hadn’t thought of looking there. I see the menu now.
    Thanks Jeff!
