Not working at all?

    Hi David,
    I’m trying to add a footnote to a post for the first time (I haven’t published the post yet) and it doesn’t work. My theme is called Ocean and it has a page builder called elementor but I’m writing my posts using blocks on Gutenberg. I’ve followed the instructions and making sure I have a space in front of the ((.
    What I’m doing is ((myfootnotecontent)) and nothing happens.
    I’m new to wordpress and don’t know how to write code or anything. Is there a simple fix?

    That’s very odd. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t be working.

    If you go into Settings -> Footnotes, is everything set up correctly? Can you also provide me with a link to a post/page where you’ve tried it and I can see it failing?
