Support » Plugin: Paid Memberships Pro » Not working as expected, recurring paymeny also not working

  • Each time I search I see people recommending this plugin, however, after testing it, I found out that it’s not possible to get a commercial website up and running with this plugin without paying money. Moreover, I’m now afraid that I’m not gonna be able to do it even if I paid for support, also the payment is expensive for 1 plugin!. I paid half the price to get a theme that require triple the work done on this plugin!.
    I quit.

PMPro has over 40,000 “active installs” and we have fewer than 4000 paying members. That’s a lot of sites running PMPro without paying money. I’m proud of it.

I disagree, but not everyone is willing to spend $97 (with a 100% money back guarantee) on the revenue generating component of their site.

I saw your one thread on the .org forums here and it looks like a simple misunderstanding. You’ve “quit” so I’m not going to waste my time responding. If you ran into other issues, you could add specifics here to help us know where we need to make things easier.

Maybe this is a hidden compliment if you think PMPro didn’t take a lot of work to build, when in reality multiple people spend the majority of their working days maintaining it and countless others contribute to the open source project.

All of the code is made available here and on GitHub for free for you to use, and I try to not take these things personal, but I feel like I need to defend the PMPro contributors every time someone has trouble using the software and comes here to trash the plugin. I don’t want our contributors to think less of the good work they are doing. And I don’t want others to get the wrong idea about what is possible with PMPro.
