Hi Kingsley,
I’m sorry the plugin is not working as intended. I will look into this issue as soon as I get the chance. Can you please send me the URL to the deleted post? Thank you.
Best regards,
Alex
I added them manually from the plugin setting page.
The click to add does not work when you delete a post
Having the same issue, think I’ve posted before about it. When I trash a post, your box appears: “You just trashed a post…” When I tap Click here, I get a message saying “Entry already exists.” How could it if I just trashed it? And it doesn’t appear on the URL list. If I tap the URL, only a blank page appears – no 410. If I add the URL manually, everything works fine. But it’s a hassle.
Hello Kingsley, hello Bill,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the issue with our plugin not adding deleted posts to the 410 table as intended. I am pleased to inform you that I have resolved the bug, and kindly request that you update the plugin to version 1.1.3 to benefit from the latest improvements.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
Kind regards,
Alex
I have installed and deleted several articles, its not bringing out the notice
Hi Kingsley,
It appears unusual, as the implemented fix did not modify that specific segment of the plugin. Our plugin utilizes the wp_trash_post
filter, which only runs when the post was published. Consequently, if your test posts were drafts, it is logical for the notice not to appear in those cases.
I hope this resolves the issue. If not, please let me know and I’ll look into it again.
Kind regards,
Alex
Thank you for replying. Don’t see the update.
Still waiting for the 1.1.3 update so I can see if it resolves the issue. Where can I find it, please?
Hi Bill,
There appeared to be an issue with the version update on WordPress.org. I have addressed this problem by updating to version 1.1.5. Could you please check your backend to see if this update is now displayed properly?
Best regards,
Alex
Just downloaded it. I’ll see how it rolls and let you know. Thank you.
Okay, trashed several posts and everything worked fine. Only issue is I can see 410 – Gone on mobile, but not desktop. Here’s a URL https://chipur.com/oops-curve Thanks!
Hi Bill,
Thank you for your feedback. To help me stay organized and address your concerns more effectively, would you mind creating a new support thread for the other issue you’re experiencing? Additionally, please include more information regarding when this issue occurs.
I have checked the URL you provided, and it is responding with 404
on both desktop and mobile devices.
Thank you,
Alex
