  • The same happened to me! Everything works fine in version 1.1.85. But after upgrading to 1.1.86, I can’t insert images from my media library. Downgrading to 1.1.85 made things works fine again.

    Hello, @surion and @zzxiang!

Thank you guys for your time reporting this problem!

I have asked our development team to check if this was a bug. It didn’t turn out to be a general problem. So could you please contact our team using the following form?

    https://web-dorado.com/support/contact-us.html
(select “I have a pre-sales question” option and it will appear)

Please send the link to this forum thread with your message. We will post the solution here as well.

    Thanks! Have a great day!

Hello, @wdsupport! Thanks for your reply.

I’ve already posted the problem in your contact-us web page. Now I also write down the detailed phenomenon of the problem here:

In fact, I am still able to click to add a new slide and add an image from media library or URL. BUT! When I click preview or save, the image disappears from the slides! Also, when I click to preview the slides, the browser console reports a 404 error saying that it can’t find the image. It’s 404 because the plugin append a number to the image URL. For example, my image URL is http://zxtechart.ufile.ucloud.com.cn/image/art/2017_06_11_wartermark.jpg, but after inserting into the slides it becomes http://zxtechart.ufile.ucloud.com.cn/image/art/2017_06_11_wartermark.jpg12, which certainly doesn’t exist.

    Hi, @zzxiang!

Our development team has checked this issue further and seems like it is a conflict with older PHP versions.

They are currently working to fix the issue. A new version will be released in a couple of days, where the problem will be resolved.

In the meantime, please install the previous version of Slider WD, so you will be able to work on your slideshows.

We are sorry for the inconvenience you have faced.
    Cheers!
