 * Hi, I tried to use it with wp multisite but no gallery appeared in frontend on
   the website in the respective post. Only the featured image was displayed.

 * It is working for me. I’ve been using this through several versions of WordPress
   for several years.
 * Depending upon your WordPress Theme and how the post with the gallery is set 
   up, no gallery may show on the front page of the site – something that has nothing
   to do with File Gallery WordPress Plugin but to do with your WordPress Theme.
 * For example, on gallery posts on the 2011 Theme, depending upon how you have 
   the site set up (static versus blog and using showcase Page template or not, 
   etc.) only the first image or “featured image” will appear with a link to the
   post for the entire gallery. This is set by the Theme.
