Support » Plugin: Page scroll to id » Not Working

  • Hi,

    I am merely making a link from a menu item and sub menu item. I have placed the following in the URL – #meet-team. The “anchor” on the targeted section of the page is:

    <div id=”meet-team”>
    <h2 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #f9a606;”>Meet Our Team</span></h2>
    </div>

    When the menu item is clicked, the page jumps to the anchor. No scrolling effect. Site is pvatestsite.com/nrgfx/who-we-are/. Also, have set the offset in the admin panel to 100 and it is not working either. Don’t know what jquery version I am using and do not know how to check. Need explicit instructions on how to make this work. Thanks.

    Hello,

    The plugin cannot work because your page scrolling is handled by a custom javascript scrollbar (another plugin). “Page scroll to id” works with browser’s native scrollbar and your page does not have one (your html element is overflow-y: hidden).

    You could probably use “Page scroll to id” scrollTo method in a callback function (provided by the custom scrollbar plugin you’re using), but you would have to implement it manually (more info in plugin homepage).
