    Hello @petrusmaximus,
Sorry for the trouble you’re facing. Could you please confirm if you’ve manually added the form fields as headers in your Google Sheet?

Once the headers are added, the form submissions should start appearing in your sheet.

You can also refer to our detailed guide here for assistance:
    https://support.gsheetconnector.com/kb/forminator-forms-gsheetconnector-plugin-settings-free-version

We have thousands of users successfully using the plugin, so it’s likely a minor setup issue on your side.

Kindly review the settings and let us know if you need any further assistance, we’re happy to help!

    Thanks & Regards
    Abdullah

Yeah, I set up the headers correctly with the filed name. I tried email-1 and {email-1} but both didn’t work. However the date column I created got populated, but it was the only column that had values in it.

Apart from that I realized that Forminator has a built in Google Sheet Integration that works very good. I have no idea why your plugin even exists.

    @petrusmaximus
Thank you for your message and for clarifying the setup.

Regarding the issue with the email field — it looks like the field name you entered was incorrect.
You used email-1 and {email-1}, but in our plugin, the field name must match the exact label text displayed in the form (for example: “Email Address”).

As clearly mentioned in our documentation, the plugin maps fields based on their label text, not internal IDs or shortcodes. That’s why your date column worked — because the label matched — while the email field didn’t.

To resolve this, please update your Google Sheet headers to match the exact label names from your form. You can refer to this screenshot for reference:

We’ve also detailed this in our documentation here:

Regarding your note about Forminator’s built-in Google Sheet integration — yes, it’s available and works for many users. However, our plugin exists because it offers extra flexibility, supports older setups, and is useful for specific use cases where native integrations may not cover every requirement.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback. If you’d like to give it another try with the correct label names, feel free, and we’re always here if you need any further assistance.

    Best regards,
    Abdullah
