Just to check, I also published the post from the backend and still no featured image was set.
Hello Venutius,
thanks for downloading the plugin. How did you use it? After you’ve installed it, you have to go to extra -> WP Set Featured Image From Content and use the button there.
Does that solve your problem?

I’m running now on a basic install, I@m not getting an extra>WP Set Featured Image From Content menu item
What version of WP are you running and also what version of PHP?
The plugin requires at least PHP 5.3
Latest of everything and PHP 5.6 I think, whatever is the latest my hosting provider supports, this is pretty much a fresh install.
Is WP_DEBUG
on? Do you get any errors in your errorlog?
Nope it’s not tthrowning any errors onscreen with WP_DEBUG on, no sign of an error log
That is weird.
Is there any way, that I can take a look at the install?
Yep no problem, do you have a site I can contact you on?
You can PM me on slack, @yourmark, find me on twitter @mark_jansen or fill in the form on http://www.yourmark.nl/contact/
Right, I see where I went wrong. The menu item I mentioned ‘Extra’, should of course be ‘Tools’. My bad.
Thanks, I think you should mention that in the introduction text for the plugin, and maybe get some screenshots?
