 * Hi There ~
 * When activating the plugin, all page content on the mobile get blown way out
   in size, getting cut off at the screen edge, and the menu is only quickly visible
   upon page load, but then disappears.
 * I’ve tried with the shortcode in the header.php
    I’ve also tried with and without
   the header meta: <meta name=’viewport’ content=’width=device-width, initial-scale
   =1, maximum-scale=1, user-scalable=no’ />
 * Please see:
    [http://100eight.com/why100eight/](http://100eight.com/why100eight/)
 * Also, I’ve developed multiple page templates, so once there is hopefully a solution,
   I will need to manually apply it in to the other php page templates, some of
   which have their own unique header.php file ..
 * many thanks and I hope I can use this awesome plugin!

 * Hi nicknack,
 * I’ve just navigated to your site and it seems that it is not built responsively.
 * You seem to have different styles/settings based on the device it would seem
   whereas mine is built based on the viewport width, media queries and the device
   width etc. You can see this by resizing your browser window on a desktop, your
   website doesn’t “respond”.
 * Are you saying that when you de-activate the plugin that the page link you sent
   me goes back to normal?
 * If so, please provide me with FTP and WordPress admin details and I will see
   if I can find a cause of this for you.
 * Many thanks

 * Hey Peter and thanks for the reply. I really appreciate your time and the work
   you’ve done. okay so yes the site is old so it was not built responsively, so
   it’s a project that will be tackled and redone some day! In the meantime, there
   is a javascript installed that simply acknowledges what platform and browser
   is being used and therefore loads specific CSS per device (i.e. .iphone.safari,.
   ipad, etc.)
 * So does this mean that your plugin won’t work with this method? If this is the
   case, would it be a matter of creating CSS responsive media queries for less
   than 800px? [@media](https://wordpress.org/support/users/media/) only screen
   and (max-width: 767px)
 * and if so, what style(s) would I need to put in this query?
 * ..or is it more involved than this?
 * If you think there’s a way to fix this, I’ll gladly email you my login info if
   you have a private email I can send it to?
 * Many Thanks!

 * Hi nicnack,
 * Unfortunately I think it is going to be more complex than this as it’s like trying
   to make 2 different techniques mix and match together.
 * I’m not sure if my plugin will work with your site in the way it is currently
   built and you may be better finding a “WordPress Mobile Menu” plugin rather than
   Responsive.
 * You may be able to use media queries as you have said but it would involve a
   developer sitting down and spending substantial time on it.
 * Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to be able to do this due to work commitments
   and maintaining this plugin on the side (I barely get enough time just to respond
   to tickets at the moment).
 * I’m sure with time spent on it you could get this plugin to work in your environment
   but it may be just as time effective to rebuild your site responsively.
 * Sorry I can’t be of more help my friend but I wish you well in the future!
 * Many thanks
 * Peter
