    belongwithwildflowers Part of your html markup is not loaded

    </div></footer></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>

    , perhaps some sort of function causes conflict. Check your footer.php you themes.

    Hi there, i’m having a similar problem here.
    Updated to 2.80 and disqus stoped working, i think i’m not using a cdn or anything similar.
    here is my site http://yalosabes.staging.wpengine.com/eu-y-ue-descalifican-elecciones-presidenciales-en-siria/
    Disqus should display on that big blank space under the video.

    I don’t know what it means that they “Moved all scripts to separate files instead of rendering them in php”. Should i do something speccial to load those files?

    Thanks!

    If you’re having errors where the comments aren’t appearing, please send your debug information (it’s output in the Disqus plugin settings) to our support team so we can get more context and test different scenarios: https://disqus.com/support/

    I’m having the same problem with Autoptimize enabled.

    Morning Matachi;
    I’m Autoptimize’s developer. If you add “disqusConfig” and “disqus-comment-system” to the comma-seperated JS optimization exclusion list solves the problem.

    hope this helps,
    frank

    Thank you Frank, that did indeed solve the problem.

    Frank, is there anything a plugin can do to be automatically excluded so we don’t have to recommend this to each site that has the issue?

    On my test site the script complains that embedVars is not defined. It looks like those are lumped into a minified file that are deferred, so it’s not available once disqus.js loads

    Hi.
    After updating, the number of comments overlaps the text.
    Now it looks like this:
    http://ifotos.pl/zobacz/commentsJ_wpeqqaw.JPG/

    I want it to be shown only the number of comments, no text.
    How to do it?

    @ryanv12 and others using Autoptimize, add these two to your exclusion list:

    disqusConfig,disqusShortname

    It picks up both of the script literal object blocks.

    cheers,
    Ross

    @sodomos It’s likely in your Disqus admin settings, see https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/1417694

    @ryanv12 so but after the change as you showed, I changed it to a full page. In the previous version when I marked the “Output JavaScript in footer” in the sidebar was the same number as in the original template. And the posts were comments from Disqus. I intend to in the sidebar display the siętylko number of comments from the template and under post, the number of text with Disqus.

    Thanks

    Do you know if the comments not showing bug has been fixed in 2.81?

    Afternoon ryanv12;
    You can add JS to be excluded with AO’s API using the “autoptimize_filter_js_exclude”-filter. There’s example code in autoptimize_helper.php_example.

    Hi All,

    2.82 has just been released and it includes an option to not render the Disqus javascript in external files. If you’re having issues with Disqus appearing, just toggle that off and Disqus will render in the markup like it used to.
