Have you read the documentation how to enable features on an external site? Are you sure that what you want to achieve is even possible?

Why is including one line of Javascript too complex?

You can’t. This would be the end of the internet if everyone could insert code into any page.

The external workaround works for many people who want to insert their own content which is on a sub domain or e.g. their old domain they own. Sometimes they e.g. want to include bigger sites with custom areas where custom css and js are allowed.

If you want to include a part of another site you don’t own the only solution is to use a feature of the pro version called “Show only a part of the page”.
    see http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/show-only-a-part-of-the-iframe

I have exactly listed which feature is available for which setup: http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-comparison-chart

In the quickstart guide I try to explain the different setups and that the available features depend what you are able to do.

The only good news are that you don’t have to look e.g. for a solution for auto height anymore if you cannot insert this line of Javascript. Currently no solution does exist that works without any kind of communication channel. HTML5 has introduced the seamless attribute where currently only basic support by chrome does exist: http://html5test.com/compare/feature/security-seamless.html.
So this does for sure takes a couple of years until you can really use this in production.
