It seems that you’re disappointed with the plugin features. I agree that the lite version has limited features but you can create an attractive Team showcase with the features which are given in the lite version without the pro features. You can create a Slider/Carousel, Grid, or List of team members with the lite version easily.
This WP Team plugin is being actively used by 5,000 + users. Of course, they found it useful. It has achieved already 48+ five stars. Most of the reviews are because of the easy-to-use, useful, and support. We are continuously working to improve our plugin and give the best experience to our users. If you have any feature requests specifically, please contact us with your feature request so that we can provide you with a solution. Note that the plugin has Custom CSS option to do any custom modification or styles in the plugin’s settings.
Giving a bad review to a plugin for the limited feature is really unfortunate as it is a lite version. The Pro version is to maintain the developers’ cost so that we can keep continuing contribution to the community.
