Do you see any error messages in your log files?

Which other plugins are you using?

Many people are using this plugin successfully.

    W3 Total Cache with Cloudflare?

    Jetpack?

    Probably the most likely culprits

There are no errors to speak off. I simply get an email with the key to white-list my IP. I click on it, taking me to the “log in to confirm ip) screen.

There, loggin in, I get the same message again, that the ip needs to be confirmed, sending me another email, etc., etc., ad infinitum.

I ran the game dozends of times, from different laptops, different browsers, etc.. .

No good. I could not actually white-list any IP and had to delete it through ftp.

Sounds very odd… I have sites running with both W3TC+Cloudflare and Jetpack wihout problems, so I doubt those plugins would cause a conflict.

Could you please post any errors you see in your log file?

WordPress has an error log file (unless you have turned off error logging.

The name of the log file is configurable, but normally it is called error_log.

Have a look at which files have recently been changed in your WordPress folder and the wp-admin folder…

Have you tried logging on from a different location (i.e. a different internet connection)?

I am sorry. I cannot find an error_log for WordPress, nor seems there to be a straight-forward guide to doing it.

I can call a log through my Plesk panel, but it only shows ftp-access, etc.., not the activity on the wordpress back-end. ;(

    It could be turned off.

You can ask your ISP support where to find it…
