# not Valid Rss

 * I checked my RSS feed with [http://feedvalidator.org](http://feedvalidator.org)
   and realized that it wasn’t valid because of the field in the wp-rss2.php.
    Basically
   it is supposed to be an email only instead of ” author (mailto: email)” I edited
   the php to do that but because the email is parsed wierd or something, it comes
   out as not an email in the feed readers. To solve it I basically hard-coded my

   Just wondering if anybody and/or WP guys have figured out a better fix for this
   and why does WP screw up the email address in the feed? Thnx rYno
