Not using categories?

    Hello all,

    I was wondering if it was possible, to fully disable the categories. I’m not really into the whole deal about it, and would just like to use tags independently. It would also remove the categories from my navigation bar.

    #1 To remove your catgories from your navigation, modify your theme and remove the categories section out of the sidebar (or whereever it is located)

    #2 You can delete all categories in wordpress but not the “uncategorized” one. So technically, there is no way to really completely disable categories, but you get quite near to it 😉
