• This isn’t a production-ready product and you know it; you should delist it to avoid wasting people’s time.

If you need money to complete it, raise the money, but don’t put a development product on wordpress.org

Beyond its readiness status, it has some architectural problems in that it makes assumptions about what users need from a page takeover.

It does have potential, which is why I give it two stars instead of 1.

    Hi @roprice

Sorry to hear that you don’t like it.

Can you please share some specifics as to what features you feel are missing?

I’d focus on bug-fixing (eg make sure the triggering works correctly) and not features. I’d even remove features if that helps.

    Thanks.

The “after x seconds” or “on exit”?

Just tried both and didn’t get any issues. Is it specific to any browser or did it just not work in general?

The “on exit” trigger does not become active until 3 seconds pass after the page loads.

In the first 3 seconds it might be just someone temporarily leaving to close another tab or switches to another tab and will come back. He didn’t have time to actually see anything on the website in the first 3 seconds, so it doesn’t mean he’s leaving.

Popups and page takeovers are a bit annoying for visitors. If a visitor just wanted to go out of the boundaries to close another tab and gets a “page takeover”, he didn’t engage with the content at all, he might just leave the website.
