Not updating a custom taxonomy

I think this is a similar issue to folks who are having trouble updating a Product Category in WooCommerce, but I can’t get an entry for this plugin to take on a custom taxonomy.

It works great on pages, posts, and custom posts, but when when I enter a value on a custom taxonomy and hit “update”, the info doesn’t get saved to the database.

Does anyone know of a workaround? Or, is there another plugin out there that will work with a custom taxonomy? Thanks.
