    I wrote to Ninja 2 years ago and asked them to add the types url, email and number so that the input boxes work for mobiles. This has still not been added so this plugin is not recommended by me. I use Contact 7 instead as it has these types and I need to make websites that belong in 2015. It’s a deal-breaker and should be for everyone serious about usability.

    This is a valid complaint. There was a delay was due to a major rewrite that was needed in how fields were registered to handle the field types properly. These field types are finally coming in version 3.0.

    We’ve been working hard to make Ninja Forms the best it can be. Unfortunately, there were other things that had to be put in place before we could accomplish this. That and the fact that until just recently this project only had one developer which certainly slowed us down.

    Great things are on the horizon and anyone watching the project knows that great things have been happening for some time now.
