Last modified: August 31, 2016 --- # Not truly responsive? * [Bad_Egg](https://wordpress.org/support/users/bad_egg/) * (@bad_egg) * [10 years, 6 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-truly-responsive/) * I am testing this theme (and just emailed the developers with a few questions before I upgrade to pro) but I’ve just encountered what seems like a huge design flaw: this theme is supposed to be responsive but when I downsize my browser to test, the following errors occur: * the custom header logo does not downsize to fit the browser window * in the Homepage Slider, the title continues to appear but is not downsized to scale and so the description no longer appears * on the blog page, the sidebars disappear instead of moving to bottom of screen as I have seen on other responsive sites, which renders the sidebars inaccessible on mobile devices * I was initially excited to have found this theme (as it appears to do what I need it to do, at least in the pro version) but these issues are causing doubt. Is anyone else having these issues with this theme? I downloaded your theme to test before adding any kind of plugins or modifying any code. Either there is conflict with the latest version of WP, or the theme doesn’t work as advertised. * In any case, I’ve moved on. Obviously we can’t help you in that case. The theme works exactly as advertised so you may want to check your site for issues. As I said, I checked your theme before adding plugins or third-party anything. I was just at the stage where I was trying to find a new theme to meet my needs. So an issue which happens for one theme doesn’t necessarily happen for others. (e.g. class and ID names are often different, 3rd party libraries, etc…). It’s always important to test an issue in isolation. * Regardless, we’re always happy to help our users where a genuine theme issue is identified.
