# Not Translating

 * I’m using this plugin on the suggestion of the developer of my theme. They were
   able to show me screenshots of how I can use Loco to easily change the language
   of the CHECKOUT and VIEW CART buttons on the shopping cart icon for this site
   we are putting together.
 * I’ve followed every step correctly as shown by them as well as tutorials I’ve
   looked up for Loco and the translation never shows up.
 * My language setting is correct and I’ve cleared the cache after making changes.
 * I’m at a loss for why this isn’t working.

 * Presumably this is a WooCommerce question and [you’ve read the FAQ](https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/translate-woocommerce).
 * Have you translated the strings in your theme, or in the WooCommerce bundle? 
   Do you know for sure which is being used?
 * If you’d like me to investigate further please post a download link to the theme.

 * It is in woocommerce. The developer showed me a shot by shot of them translating
   it and I’ve followed it exactly as well as read through documentation. It worked
   when they didn’t, so obviously I’m missing something. I will read through the
   link you sent me and see if I can work it out.

 * Well…it works now. I’ll be honest, I don’t know what I did different this time
   b/c it appears I took the same approach previously as when I just followed the
   doc on Woocommerce. I did check the config repository this time, so maybe that’s
   what did it. Thanks!
