I see instructions (http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress), but am not sure what I need to do. I installed the WP script for the site in a subfolder before pointing the domain, because I was redesigning a site and wanted to keep it active. Now that the domain is pointing to the subfolder, the URL comes up instead of the titles at the top of each page. I know I could create a new directory, adjust the pointer settings of the subdirectory to the URL and then reinstall WP in the new directory and copy in the html from the old pages, redo the plugin settings, and upload my child theme pages, but if I can avoid this extra work, that would be best. So, would this option be “When Your Domain Name or URLs Change – On your existing server:Use the Search and Replace for WordPress Databases Script to safely change all instances.”?
