Support » Plugin: Open Social Share » Not simplified, hacky

  • You have to register with a third party service to use this plugin. That on it’s own makes this not a simple plugin to use.

I honestly haven’t even looked into this plugin further, why waste my time? I don’t want any tracking or other bloatware for my website.

The “LR” icon on the dashboard, with its own (completely unecessary) menu is disgusting. It could easily be moved under the “Settings” page like every other plugin.

The settings link in the Plugins section opens up the settings page, in fact, although it doesn’t actually take you to a page underneath… Not sure what that’s all about, but it’s quite hacky either way. The links on the plugin settings page uses light blue links on a light blue background. I can’t even be bothered trying to read them.

Everything about this just seems awful. Don’t bother.
