    Hey there!

    I took a look, and it looks like there’s an issue with how your theme is displaying the boxes to display Apple and Google Pay.

    This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Sorry but I’m facing kind of the same issue:

    I don’t understand why but when I do with the Chrome “Inspect” tool, I can see the “add to cart” button (see video in link above) https://www.loom.com/share/6e666e03a98541fe97c3e3f46583b6af
    but it doesn’t display in real on phone (see picture) https://prnt.sc/uafyun

    Because I made tests with 2 different iphones, I couldn’t try in real with a samsung.
    My opinion is that during one of the last updates, when you added the “Apple pay” features it made a conflict trying to force people using “Apple pay”.

    I’m ok for proposing apple pay, but not straight forward on product page, I would prefer it with a “checkout only” option.

    More, it looks like replacing the usual “add to cart” button and if deactivated, there are no way to add product to cart !!

    Please let me know if you think the issue is coming from the “stripe getaway plugin” but a friend of mine a bit more technical than me ensure me it was the origin of my issue with the add to cart button.

    I thought your answer is a bit easy.
    I’have been using the plugin with the same theme and everything was working until Apple pay came by force. And now when the bug is coming you tell its because of the theme or a third party plugin….. Alright !

    Hi @stanlevy – the theme conflict test is purely to rule that out as an option. If you try that and still see the same issue, feel free to open your own thread to ensure your issue is looked over and not lost with older threads.

    Hey Joey – my issues are not solved so far.
    I changed from neve theme to store front theme – so it worked our correctly.
    After contacting the neve team, unfortuantely they could rebuild the issue, as they sit somewhere in a country, which is most probably not apple to see the apple (or stripe payment) button. I tried to open my shop for all countries – it did not work neither.

    I decide to add the following code in functions.php

    add_filter( ‘wc_stripe_hide_payment_request_on_product_page’, ‘__return_true’ );

    This solved my issues.

    The issue is coming back after any update from the theme – functions.php will be overridden anytime.

    This filter will be lost always.
    add_filter(‘wc_stripe_hide_payment_request_on_product_page’, ‘__return_true’);

    How can I remove the stripe payment button from stripe definitivly from the product page?

    Hi @flatee – the best way to put snippets in your functions.php file is to first set up a child of your theme (a child theme). You can view a doc we have on this here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/set-up-and-use-a-child-theme/
    That would ensure that the functions.php file remains intact when any updates are made.

    Another option would be to use a plugin instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/
    You could try that, though I’m unsure if it occurs too late in the process for that specific filter.

    @jricketts4 Thanks – actually my theme is installed as child theme. Have no clue, why it was overridden.

    I will install the code snippets plug-in. THanks a lot for this tip.

    That certainly shouldn’t have happened, so yes – definitely try the code snippet plugin. 😁
