# Not shown in Admin

 * Hi there,
 * very odd, but I installed & activated the plugin, however, it is nowhere shown
   in the admin backend (as per documentation there should be a section “News Ticker
   > Add New”).

 * If you are using one of the Ditty News Ticker extensions, make sure you install
   and activate the base Ditty News Ticker plugin. If you are just using the free
   plugin and it is installed and activated, it’s possible another custom post type
   has set a specific menu position that is accidentally removing the News Ticker

   to see if another plugin or even your theme may be affecting this.

   and even I am getting this problem, the plugin is not showing.
