Not showing in Facebook?

Hi,

My sliders all display fine when I open them in desktop and mobile phone explorers but when I open pages from a Facebook page link they don’t display.

Eg: If you open https://then-and-now.co.uk/england/old-thatch-tavern-stratford-upon-avon-c-1890-2024/ in a browser, it is fine.

But if you open the Facebook post in Facebook mobile at https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid0RnNA1YzYACkSjibHjGwRbxa16ag49VLAaRA4wdYSjG3223V84VKf8WXmYhTWzhQdl&id=61570277724118 and then click the link, the slider won’t display.

Deactivating all other plugins doesn’t make a difference.

Could you advise how to fix this please?

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

It’s fine on all versions on a desktop but it’s Facebook mobile where it’s not working (for me, at least) if you could have a look at that please?

Hi,

That’s the Facebook Lite app and not the main Facebook app I’m afraid.

I’ve just tried on the Facebook Lite app on my phone and it works fine, as shown on your video.

Just not on the main Facebook app on my phone and others I’ve tried it on, if that’s helps?

Thank you for providing the detailed information.

I have reviewed the issue, and it seems that when you browse a website through Facebook instead of a regular browser, the JavaScript does not execute properly.

This is a common limitation within the in-app browsers of social media platforms. I have taken note of this and added it to the roadmap for fixing in future development.
