    As I want to use my email section in HTML format, the dropdown is showing only”plain text” in it.

    Please help me with this.

  • Hi there 🙂

    If you would like to edit the email template using HTML, you will need a plugin.

    * One option is https://woocommerce.com/products/mailpoet/
    As a reference you can check this documentation.
    If you have more specific questions I recommend reaching out directly to the plugin support at Mail Poet forum

    There are other options as well in the WordPress.org plugin repository, such as:
    * https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-html-mail/

    I hope this leads you in the right direction.

    Thanks for the reply,

    My concern is, why my woo-commerce is missing the HTML option under the “Email Type:” dropdown section.
    Is it because of a plugin update or it’s corrupted?

    As we always try to avoid the number of plugins on the website, please help me that I can use my mail section without an external plugin.

    Hi @parth09

    Thank you for clarifying. By default, there should be HTML in the Email Type dropdown. If yours only shows plain text, you’ll first want to do a full conflict test to determine if the issue is coming from a plugin/theme conflict. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Test to see if the issue has been resolved

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    @maykato @oaoyadeyi

    As I have gone through all the steps, I found that the problem is from my hosting provider service team.
