Not showing collapsed

    Hi there, I really like the Plugin and its configurability.

    Sadly I have a slight problem: It does not load collapsed.

    The expand/collapse buttons work perfectly but it always shows expanded by default.

    Hello. We could not find any examples of expand elements on the page linked to. However, it seems that there is content that is being dynamically loaded, is this the case? Let us know when there is an expand example we can take a close look at and we’ll help get the issue sorted out.

    Update: We found the example under “Landscape Observatory Iceland”. The content is being loaded in a modal window… so the content is being dynamically loaded as we expected. Contact the theme developers support forum (http://abileweb.com/forum/) and ask if a callback is provided that can trigger a javascript function once the content has successfully loaded.

    The issue is simply that once that content has been loaded, the initial ‘collapse’ needs to be triggered. In the meantime, maybe try adding the ‘maptastic’ class to the target using the targclass attribute.

    Background Info: I used the “Unyson Page Builder” to arrange the page elements, added the Projects with “WPB Filterable Portfolio” all on top of the mentioned theme.

    Now I don’t really know what is to blame for not permitting that callback function. Do you still recommend checking back with the Theme Developer or with the Devs of the Plugins?

    The issue is that by the time the portfolio content is displayed in the modal pop-up window, the initial call to ‘collapse all expand elements’ was already triggered on the page load. We have built in a function that can be called if new content is loaded that will collapse any expands, but there needs to be a callback to trigger this. Either the plugin or the theme (whichever is adding this modal window function) should provide such a callback.

    If you would like, we would be happy to take a closer look and work out a solution as part of the personal support that comes with collapse-pro-matic. However, the free version will work with a callback from other themes and plugins, if provided.

    Thank you again for your amazing explanation and fast reply.

    I asked the developer of the used Plugin “Responsive Filterable Portfolio WordPress Plugin”, which creates that modal window, for that desired callback.

    Hope he will reply soon.

    I contacted the developer but found a solution by myself. A plugin called: “Read More Without Refresh” works somehow perfectly. The other 10 plugins I tried, were mostly not working at all.
