    Hi @alessiochelucci,

As of the latest version 1.6.4, only logged-in users can purchase subscription products. The gateway is temporarily hidden for guests to prevent an issue with subscription renewals.
The next plugin update will be released before the end of the month and make it possible again for guests to buy subscription products. But in the meantime, only logged-in users can see the gateway when a subscription product is in the cart.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

Ok, but i’ve just activated reference transaction by Paypal, and with Paypal Standard plugin doesn’t work (all new payments, after the 1 day trial, fail), so i’ve enabled paypal payment (this plugin), but i can’t use it, because in woocommerce the creation of new user is only after the checkout (I really can’t oblige to a user first to create an account and then to make the registration for a trial, nobody will buy anythoing), and no one see the paypal button..

    So, suggestions?

It’s a disaster for my store, i’m loosing so much customers, a lot of failed payments.

@alessiochelucci A pre-release version of the next update with the guest checkout for subscriptions will be available to download from the GitHub repo in the coming days: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/releases
The official update will follow about a week later.

Alternatively, with the plugin version 1.6.1, guests could also buy subscriptions. But there is a bug in that version that can prevent renewal payments from working for these subscriptions so we do not recommend using it. Our recommendation is to always stick with the latest plugin version.
Besides this, there is another problem though, as free trials are not supported by PayPal for now. Subscriptions must have some kind of first payment like a sign-up fee for example. Otherwise, PayPal cannot save the payment method.
We are working on making free trials possible, but this feature needs a bit more time before it’s ready.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
