I have installed the plugin but it seems to block every mail that Woocommerce sends to the customers. Even the emails related to non preorder items aren’t being sent; neither when the customer purchases the order or I change its status in the back-end.

Soryy, what conversation are you talking about? I filled the onnline form (i have bought the pro version) and nothing more. The only conversation I’m having is this one.
