@illysia,
Have you recently changed anything? Added or updated a plugin or changed theme? Updated WordPress or changed any settings?
If you have try reverting these changes. If not then the only other reason is that your host has changed something. Install a mail logging plugin and see if emails are logged in there when you publish new content. If mails do get logged then your issues are not being caused by Subscribe2.
Thanks Matt! I looked through all the WordPress plugins found by a search on “mail log” but I only found one (WP Mail Log), and it has not been tested with the newest version of WordPress, so I’m a bit nervous to try it. Is there a mail log you can recommend?
Thank you. I really appreciate your help!!!

@ illysia,
This one is compatible to the latest version:

Thanks so much! I made a donation for all your great help. I’ll try this out and see what happens when I publish a post next week.
Take care,
Illysia
Hi Matt,
I deactivated Jetpack (just didn’t need it) and installed e-mail log as you suggested, and it worked! Thanks soooooo much. I do have one more question:-)
Even though I specified to send the emails in HTML, only text shows up when emails are sent, no photos. It’s not quite as convincing to lure readers to my blog as if a photo were included. Is there a way to do that through subscribe to, or do I need to add another plug-in for that?
Have a great day!!
Illysia
@illysia,
To get HTML in you emails by default you will need the paid version of the code – Subscribe2 HTML. I’m currently investigating a new method for sales as the previous website provider has closed down the current portal.
Thanks! Any way you could let me know when you figure it out? I’d like to buy it.
Best,
Illysia
@illysia,
Sure, I’ll try to remember 🙂
