This is the only issue I see what not sure what it means: PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with ‘#’ are deprecated in /web/conf/php5.ini on line 1256 in Unknown on line 0

Thank you for the quick response.

I have the same problem that the contact from is unable to send emails. http://elastomers.org

    Hi,

I am having the same problem.

After I fill out the contact form and click send the following message appears.

“Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

This is happening with both my contact forms I have on my website.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Cheers,

    Katie

@j4gdi5h & @katielockwood – As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.

Posting in an existing topic prevents being able to track issues by topic. Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.

hey buzz how about you answer the damn question, i see you posting all over the place talking about how the issue is not with contact form 7, but its is, its not working on various hosting platforms godaddy and network solutions since the update of wordpress. Is there a solution or are you going to just keep sidestepping.

@rafferjr: buzztone is NOT the author of this plugin but another (albeit more experienced) user who is trying to help others out of the goodness of his heart. On that basis, I suggest you moderate your tone and review the Forum_Welcome before posting again. Try paying special attention to the sections on “Where to Post” and “The Bad Stuff”.

@rafferjr – your comment is inappropriate & offensive so thanks @esmi for pointing that out.

For the record I volunteer in this forum as a way of giving back to WordPress. I started doing it over a year ago when someone suggested that helping out on a plugin you know well is a good way to contribute to WordPress.

To date I’ve answered around 700 CF7 questions including around 300 on “not sending emails”.

I soon discovered that the “email not sending issue” tends to be mostly the same questions repeated by different users, so I wrote an extensive article which the plugin author links to at Contact Form 7 Email Issues.

Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

The issue typically has little or nothing to do with Contact Form 7, though CF7 gets frequently blamed.

I just spoke with GoDaddy and they do not believe it has anything to do with their end. They are testing the server right now and providing me an update today. I will post something once I hear from them.

Is it possible for a moderator to delete the trash posts on this thread? I just want to find a solution…that is all. Thanks.

    Hi Guys,

I had the same problem and here’s my fix. If your webserver is at home and your internet provider is ATT then you need to go to your ATT email account (email@att.net) and add the email account that your form is going to use to send emails.

Thanks but doesn’t apply to my circumstance.

Can you post a screen shot of your form settings?
