Not sending custom email

Custom email is not send anymore.
After investigation, it seems that changing helpers.php:
Line 403:
$headerStr.= $header.”: “.$value.”\r\n”;to
$headerStr.= $header.”: “.$value.”\n”;It is working again. But I am sure this is a wrong solution
