I have activated the plugin and it is still showing the words by and on. Just without the authors name or actual date. Is it possible to get rid of these words as well?

We have released a new version of the plugin today, enhancing how dates and authors are hidden. Please update the plugin and check if the issue persists. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the plugin’s functionality across all WordPress themes, as each theme applies its own unique styles.

If you still experience issues, feel free to share details about your theme, and we’ll do our best to help!

Thanks for the quick response. I’ve updated the plugin and it removed the word ‘on’ but not ‘by’. To be honest it probably has to do with the theme, but rather than spend lots of your time or mine on this, I am happy to make the author visible and leave it at that. It was mostly the date I wanted rid of as it’s evergreen material.

I’m having the same issue… it’s turned off the information but still showing the ‘by’ and the dot that separates the date. I understand that this is coming from the theme (using kadence) but is there any work around?

    thanks 🙂

I installed this plugin, but on my site it hides the date/author only within the post, but on the category/blog page the date/author continues to be displayed… I’m interested to know if this is how it should be for everyone or if it’s a compatibility issue between my theme and the plugin?
