Hi @eoinkennedy,
Are you sure there is no “rule” for this error? I mean, when you try same product with same user – is coupon always applied? or only sometimes? In other words, can we tell when coupon is not applied – does it depend on product we are trying to add to the cart? or maybe it depends on user (logged vs unlogged)?
Hi,
I think I have found the solution:
I’m using Advanced Coupons for WooCommerce to generate the coupon codes and to expand their functionality, and in there is an option to create a URL link for the coupons.
If I disable that option when creating a new coupon, then your URL works perfectly every time.
If you need access, that’s easy to provide.
Thanks,
Eoin
Hi,
Yep, that’s the one (grrr).

Hi @eoinkennedy,
Thanks. I will take a look and will try to make the plugins fully compatible.
Hi @eoinkennedy,
Took me a while to look into it – sorry about that – but today I’ve finally made some tests. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue – no matter which settings I changed in both plugins, they seem to coexists “happily” – everything seems to be working fine for both plugins.
I will mark this thread as resolved for now, hope that’s fine. And if you’ll have a spare time, could you please send me the exact configuration of the “Advanced Coupons” plugin – generally I think I only need their “URL Coupons” settings section. As for our plugin – I assumed that you’ve only changed the settings you’ve mentioned in your initial post, please let me know if that’s not correct. You can post it here, or contact me directly. And I totally understand if you don’t have time for this, no problem.
