Not receiving payment emails from PayPal (4 posts)

    We are using the PMP with PayPal Express. We are not receiving emails from PayPal when someone signs up. This is important for our reporting to get the emails from PayPal. We contacted PayPal and they said it was because of how the PayPal Express code was setup on our site which was the reason why we were not receiving any emails.

    The client is using the same PayPal account on another website. They are using PayPal Standard buttons there and they receive email notification every time someone submits payment.

    Emails from PMPPro and WordPress are being sent fine, but this client specifically needs emails when a user pauses a subscription, or a payment is declined. PMPPro doesn't send those email notifications.

    Currently PMPro does not support pausing subscriptions like that but emails should be sent out when there are billing failures. Could you make sure your IPN handler URL is set up correctly? You can troubleshoot that by following the instructions at this blog post: http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/2013/09/read-using-paypal-standard-paid-memberships-pro/ and enable IPN logging by uncommenting this line in the services/ipnhandler.php file.
